World Naked Bike Ride London 2018
The Naked Bike Ride is taking place on the same day as the Queen’s birthday parade this year.
Which is handy, because it means you’ll already be wearing your birthday suit.
Yes, this Saturday will see over 1,000 cyclists streak down London streets in the buff for the 15th annual Naked Bike Ride, designed to draw attention to the vulnerability of cyclists on our streets and our dependency on oil and fossil fuels, as well as promoting body confidence.
At least, that’s the idea they’re peddling.

It’s free to take part in, and there’s six starting points across the city – Tower Hill, Regent’s Park, Hyde Park, Clapham Junction, Kew Bridge and West Norwood – after which the routes will converge to go past the big sights of central London, including Buckingham Palace. All the organisers ask is that you don’t spend unnecessary amounts of time naked either side of the actual ride, which is fairly understandable. Just remember your suncream, and a bag for your, ahem, bare essentials.
Oh, and remember not to point and laugh at anyone taking part.
After all, it’s not meant to be a vicious cycle.
NOTE: The World Naked Bike Ride London takes place this Saturday 9th June. It’s free to join and you can just turn up at one of the points above – check their website HERE for details and timings.
