Way back in 2011 Prince William married Kate Middleton; Steve Jobs died; The King’s Speech won four oscars; the UK’s last circus elephant retired; The Arab Spring spread across the Middle East; the final Harry Potter film was released in UK cinemas; and, most importantly of all, The Nudge started emailing its recommendations of things to do in London to seven people.
Six of them were family members.
Since then The Nudge’s irreverent tone and ridiculously well-curated content has resulted in it becoming London’s most trusted city guide, bringing its bulletproof recommendations to a monthly cross-platform audience of over 500,000 epicureans, bon vivants, tastemakers and adventurers (plus a bunch of normal people) all of whom share two simple desires: to make the most of their lives in London, and to be entertained.
In December 2015 an additional string was added to The Nudge’s curatorial bow: Nudge Memberships, which reduce the cost of enjoying the best of London. Members receive special perks – like welcome cocktails & secret post-dinner nightcaps – on the house, for themselves and all of their guests, and have access to a rotating choice of exclusive dining experiences, member parties, preview nights, masterclasses, secret happy hours, extended soft launches and more – all available at up to 50% off the going rate.
Today we’re a small collection of London-lovers focused on producing content that’s highly accessible and actionable. Ultimately we want to simply help as many people as we can to get away from Netflix and out into London with their friends, family and lovers.
Though probably not all at the same time.
