But sometimes – particularly in the middle of a long and sociable summer of weekend barbecues; flip-flops and ice-cream (it’s coming) – you’re better off without them.
Imagine, for example, a hidden location by Buckingham Palace; a luxury five star hotel; a beautiful garden; an alfresco three course dinner; summer cocktails, live operatic arias and crossover classics…
This is Summer Season at Courtyard 51, and it’s prime, Grade-A dating territory.
No friends required.
Gently taking your date by the hand you’ll enter the historic garden, find your table and enjoy a signature “51” cocktail. The entertainment will begin and you’ll soak up the warm evening air as your meal is served: mille-feuille of char-grilled vegetables, followed by a duo of sea bass and lamb cutlets and then English rhubarb panacotta.
As the sun sets, as the moon appears and as your perfect evening draws to a close over coffee and petit fours, you’ll gaze deeply into your companion’s eyes and tenderly whisper the words that your heart has long ached to release;
“I love…I love….I love…..The Nudge”.
