After the success of 2024’s debut, the Jazz Café‘s giving its outdoor day festival a reprise.
It’s all going down in the lush landscape of Camberwell’s Burgess Park, where the iconic live music venue will be bringing together another fine roster of artists – spanning a whole range of genres – who have played their part in the Jazz Café’s storied 30 year history.
Taking place earlier in the year this time on 3rd August 2025, it’ll be another day-long extravaganza featuring live performances across four stages. And while the acts for 2025 are yet to be announced, you can expect some big things.
For the inaugural festival, main stage headliners included the celebrated Nils Frahm with his signature blend of classical influences and electronica, and ELIZA (formerly Eliza Doolittle), who debuted her shift from pop to R’n’B to a sold out audience at Jazz Café back in 2018. Taking over the In The Round Dance stage were DJs like Gilles Peterson, who played to a crowd in 360º, while The Plant Room hosted acts like Earl Sweatshirt in a giant greenhouse.
Being an all-day affair, there’s also food trucks and pop-up bars to keep your dancing battery well-charged, and it’s worth knowing that the VIP tickets promise close-up access to the stages for the best view of the performers.
Sounds like a good arrangement.
NOTE: The Jazz Café Festival next takes place on 3rd August 2025 in Burgess Park. A limited number of £35 priority tickets go on sale on 17th December at 12pm – just sign up to their mailing list here. Otherwise, you can keep an eye on the Jazz Café website for general release soon…
