If you feel like you’re at home when you’re in Belgravia, surrounded by Cartier, Tiffanys, The Royal Court Theatre, The Saatchi Gallery, and the like… then Cheval Phoenix House can pretty much make that a reality.
It’s a collection of luxury serviced apartments from Cheval (who also have locations in Knightsbridge, Hyde Park Gate, etc.) and you’ll find it just north of Sloane Square. Despite seeming fairly innocuous from the outside, you can’t miss it; it’s the one just around the corner from the Anya Hindmarch store, and next door to superb Indian restaurant Kahani.
Inside, there’s a choice of one or two bedroom accommodation, either open plan, or apartment-style in varying degrees of luxury. What they all have in common though is the level of detail. Every apartment has a fully-fitted kitchen including a dishwasher, fridge-freezer, Nespresso coffee machine and a goodie-loaded complimentary welcome hamper on arrival. The rooms all have king-size beds with oceans of space, complete with frette linen and a goose down duvet. The bathrooms are equips with toiletries fromThe White Company, and there’s air-conditioning throughout.
Then there are the amenities. Despite not being hotel rooms, the apartments all come with the luxuries you’ve come to expect from a hotel room – there’s a 24 concierge, an onsite fitness centre, and, should you want it, there’s a private chef service, or a bespoke diet consultation from Life Acrobat available too.
You can spring for a single night, or book for a few months.
Either way, you’ll feel perfectly at home.
