And today, the thing you are learning is that the rooftop curling venue is re-opening on an East London rooftop at the start of November, and you desperately want to go there.
It’s all part of the Social Fun & Games Club at Roof East, who’ve also added crazy golf, bowls, shuffleboard, baseball batting cages, and VR foosball into the mix. They’re otherwise pouring their prodigious entertainment talent into the following:
6 CURLING LANES
Neon lit, and made of 100% genuine synthetic ice – and yes, you can have drinks delivered direct to your lane, in case you need some actual ice.
A TON OF FOOD & DRINK
You can score yourself boozy Mexican hot chocolates, flasks of mulled wine, buckets of craft beer, steaming cider punch, and hot buttered rums from the retro chalet bar, plus raclette burgers and wild boar hotdogs from Jimmy’s Lodge – before soaking up the 360 degree view of East London.
It’s a sweeping vista.
