Pizza Pilgrims Shoreditch | Dependably Great Slices
It’s tough to know what to put on the menu at a new pizza place.
You have to cover all the bases.
Luckily, Pizza Pilgrims are more than capable of just that, as they’re proving with their Shoreditch High Street branch, just outside the orbit of the Old Street roundabout. Inside, the decor features the brand’s signature New York-Italian touches, with green checked tablecloths and white walls, one of which is covered with gorgeous old pizza boxes, and the rest of which are adorned with vintage posters advertising Italian spirits and snacks. Here’s what you can expect:
TO EAT
All the Pizza Pilgrims favourites have made the journey over here, including the spicy ‘Nduja, the rich Smoked Napoli, the earthy Portobello Mushroom & Truffle, and the fennel sausage-loaded Salsiccia E Friarielli. And of course, after that, you can plump for a Nutella tiramisu (served in the jar), or just get them to spread the stuff on pizza dough, roll it up into a ring and scorch it in their insanely hot wood-burning oven, for a calzonified nutella ring dessert.
TO DRINK
They’ve got a fully stocked bar, jostling with all the Italian beers and cocktails (Negronis, Spritzes, Limoncello & tonic) you’ve grown accustomed to drinking at the Pilgrims. So don’t worry.
They’ve got you covered.
NOTE: Pizza Pilgrims Shoreditch is open daily. You can find out more, and book, HERE.
