The Martell Suite

The Martell Suite

Secret hotel suites have a lot in common with excellent cognac.

Both are hard to find; both are designed for only the most discerning of individuals; both are best shared with a loved one; and both are made out of grapes.

But don’t take our word for it.

Instead make your way to a private apartment hidden away in the rafters of the beautiful Mondrian Hotel for an exclusive voyage of cognac-based discovery with Martell’s very own ambassador, Matthias Lataille.

Known to some (well, everyone) as The Martell Suite, this experience represents as transient and intimate an epicurean jaunt through the world of high-end cognac as you’re likely to be invited to this year ever. In existence within this secret corner of The Mondrian until the 6th May only, it promises to give you a taste not merely of Martell’s award-winning cognac – through a welcome Cognac-based Milk Punch, a special gourmand serve and then tutored tasting of Martell’s alternative expressions – but a 360° taste of the brand’s entire heritage, too.

Choose to attend and you’ll improve your knowledge and understanding of cognac; you’ll enjoy a selection of cocktails created by Dandelyan Bar’s skilled drinksmiths; you’ll get to hobnob with the brand ambassador of the world’s oldest major cognac house; and you’ll personally challenge the perception that cognac shouldn’t be drunk neat…

By using a coaster.

NOTE: The Martell Suite is open from the 26th-29th April & 3rd-6th May with 2 sessions per night from 7pm- 9pm and 9pm-11pm. Tickets cost £45 and are now on sale here.

ALSO NOTE: There also exists The Martell Bar on the ground floor of the Mondrian hotel, offering a selection of cognac cocktails created by Mondrian’s award-winning bar Dandelyan. The bar is open now Wed-Sat (5pm – Close) until May 6th.
