Bunga Bunga Battersea Brunch
The letter b.
Sometimes, it makes a subtle appearance.
And sometimes, it’s rather more upfront about the whole thing, as in the glorious phrase Bunga Bunga Battersea‘s Brunch. Which, praise be, is a thing now.
You may have heard of their orgiastic, entertainment-fuelled, karaoke-blasting Saturday brunch parties – and perhaps you’ve been looking for something a little more laid-back. Something that promises you piles of warm brioche, platters of cured meats and fresh melon, and an array of breakfast pizzas…
We’ve all been there.
Only now, you can actually go there. Surrounded by layers of Italian memorabilia decking the walls, from the sweeping murals to the full-size Vespas suspended from the ceiling, you’ll settle down for their souped-up Sunday Italian feasting brunch, or as they like to call it, La Famiglia. Following your starters, you’ll put in your pizza order – which, heads up – features options like the Bunga Benedict, with soft poached egg and hollandaise sauce, and The Englishman’s Breakfast – and yes, that is a full English daintily slapped onto a pillowy sourdough base.
And thanks to the old “when in Rome” excuse, you may as well accompany this feast with to two hours-worth of as many bellinis as you’d like for the table too…
It’ll suit you down to a B.
NOTE: Bunga Bunga’s La Famiglia brunch is now up and running every Sunday. The set menu is £19.50, and for an additional £19.50 you can have access to 2 hours of complimentary bellinis. You can book in on their website HERE.
