Hiver Beers & Tortilleria El Pastor Street Party

Hiver Beers & Tortilleria El Pastor Street Party

Street parties.

Ironically, they’re anything but pedestrian.

Especially if they’re being organised by two of the neighbourhood’s most interesting establishments. Which, happily, this one is. Taking place on Bermondsey’s Stanworth Street, it’ll see this end of Maltby Street Market strung up with bunting for an evening of food, drink, and a heck of a lot of merry-making.

It’s organised by neighbours Hiver Beer (who create delicious craft beer by fermenting London honey) and Tortilleria El Pastor (the celebrated Mexican taqueria and shop from the brothers behind Barrafina). Together, they’re proffering up a feast of beer and tacos, with plenty of music and communal tables, like a proper, old-school street knees-up.

And the best part? Your ticket already includes your first taco and a pint of Hiver.

Not bad for a fiver.

NOTE: The Hiver Beers street party takes place on Stanworth Street on Friday 14th September, 5-10pm. Tickets cost £5, and can be booked right HERE.
