Neighbourhood eatery Kudu has rapidly become one of Peckham’s greatest restaurants.
And their follow-up cocktail bar Smokey Kudu, a little further down the road by Queen’s Road station, is equally popular. It’s a surprisingly glamorous space considering it’s tucked into a railway arch, with a dozen South African inspired cocktails to sip beneath a huge chandelier.
So – curious to know where they go from here?
Well, they’re planning to open Curious Kudu, also in Peckham. Originally, the team planned to open a miniature version of the restaurant called Little Kudu, but they’ve had a rethink and will now be channelling their efforts into a boutique. It’ll sell hand-picked home furnishings and art – plus, they’ll be cramming in a little private dining room so you can enjoy their acclaimed South African cooking in style.
Watch this space…
NOTE: Curious Kudu is set to open some time later this year. We’ll be back with the details as we hear them.
