Netil360 | Rooftop Bar in London Fields
Some rooftop bars act like they’re so… above you.
Thankfully, Netil360 isn’t one of them.
It’s one of the most laid-back high-altitude boozers in London, where you can drink in views of the London skyline without having to book a table months in advance, or spend £100 just to be there.
Sandwiched between London Fields and Victoria Park, it’s part of the Netil House complex – an old refurbished 60s office block which now houses a radio station, Netil Market, and a downstairs club, live music lounge & terrace by the name of NT’s Loft. And right at the top, with its handmade wooden benches and booths, is Netil360: an urban treehouse where you can while away an afternoon with the gang over pizzas and drinks.
When the sun hits its zenith, the bar kicks off – and in full flow you’ll find draught lager from the nearby Five Points Brewery, craft beer in cans, a host of well travelled wines, and spirits courtesy of the East London Liquor Company. In summer, they duly oblige the need for additional hydration with giant pitchers of Pimms, negronis and cuba libre. And in winter, they duly oblige the need for heat with… heaters, and a cosy, sheltered space with plenty of big tables for groups.
Oh, and talking of heat, you’ll also find a quartet of hand-built saunas on the roof of Netil House, too. They’re tucked away from Netil360, with a separate entrance – but if you make a booking, you can enjoy an entire private cabin to yourself, complete with changing room, showers, and a personal chill-out area complete with fire-pit and a mini fridge for booze.
Finally, Netil360 knows how to throw a good party, and once the sun has set the DJs take over. They’ve even got a rooftop dog you can kick back with.
They do ask that you don’t feed her though, she might feel ruff.
