In Night’s Darkling Glory

Introducing In Night’s Darkling Glory, London’s first immersive music event, fusing storytelling, live performance, food and music into one ludicrously epic package, the likes of which you may never see again

…literally, because the venue is getting demolished next year.

Upon discovering said venue down the dark, brooding alleyways of London Bridge, you’ll be transported to a long-forgotten medieval castle thanks to the talented efforts of Darling & Edge, set designers behind Gingerline, Beauty and the Feast, and the bar at Alice’s Adventures Underground. And here’s what you can expect…

THE FEAST

Like any seasoned traveller, you’ll be filling up with rations before embarking on your adventure. Unlike most travellers, however, those rations will come in the form of a bountiful, all-you-can-eat castle banquet, with medieval and modern cooking techniques effortlessly combined by Masterchef champion, Natalie Coleman. Expect hog roasts coupled with sparkling mead, and platters of vegetables and sundries wending their way along feasting tables as you prepare yourself for…

THE ADVENTURE

Now, we won’t give away too much. But through the powers of suggestion, we can subtly implant in your mind a miniature trailer for the evening, which essentially involves three storeys of candlelit castle to explore, off-menu cocktails to uncover, and a troupe of mysterious poets and bards weaving the age-old love story of Tristan and Isolde; over which you’ll hear the delicate thrums of a the Arensky Chamber Orchestra (some of whom – when they’re not busy bringing forth the world’s most haunting melodies in the confines of a dark castle – are also members of something called the Royal Philharmonic).

Which should help to drum up some custom.

NOTE: In Night’s Darkling Glory takes place in a hidden location from 19th-22nd October. Due to popular demand, they are releasing extra tickets for the weekend shows on Thursday 5th October, which you’ll be able to book HERE.

ALSO NOTEThey even have a trailer
