Roof East | Winter 2018
Last Updated: 2nd November 2018
SFG Club at Roof East are really upping their games.
Because Stratford’s car park-turned-rooftop bar has had a full winter makeover, with the return of six, neon-lit, covered curling lanes from the Sliders team. And in honour of these lanes, and, coincidentally, the 25th anniversary of cult film Cool Runnings, the theme this year is officially… Curl Runnings. Expect Christmas trees popping up out of car bonnets, festive cocktails, and Jamaican touches in the decor.
Those glittering curling lanes have cocktail caddies at your beck and call, to deliver drinks directly to your curling lane. And once you’ve wrapped up your game, you can order cocktails like Apple Strudel Mojitos and boozy hot chocolates from their two well-stocked bars, and take a load off in festive bobsleigh seating as you soak up beautiful sky-high sunsets over the Olympic Park.
NOTE: SFG Club at Roof East is open Tues-Sat from 4.30-11pm (from noon on Saturdays), until December 22nd. You can find out more, and book ahead, HERE. One curling lane costs from £50 for a team of four, for 40 minutes.
ALSO NOTE: If you’re a little further west, you may like to know that you can also curl at the Sliders pop up in Queens: Skate Dine Bowl.
