Some people like to think about Fulham as Chelsea’s slightly less flashy sibling.
And those people clearly don’t visit often, and certainly don’t live here. Because when you consider that, thanks to its proximity, you get access to all the same fancy places, the prices here are only semi-absurd, you’re never more than a few minutes away from a leafy riverbank, you’ve got considerably more green space, and all told the place feels a lot more like a neighbourhood than a transitory shopping destination, it seems clear that being less flashy is something of an advantage…
