Lila | Notting Hill Restaurant
Jake Finn is a very interesting chef.
He’s been in the kitchens of The Ritz, La Petite Maison, COYA, and Social Eating House.
He’s also been in other people’s kitchens, as a private chef and caterer.
And finally, he’s getting to work in his own kitchen.
He’ll be launching his first solo restaurant this Spring, named Lila (after the Spanish for Lily). Details so far are tightly under wraps, but we do know that it’ll be making its home in Notting Hill, and will be focussed around live-fire cooking. The menu will be filled with Mediterranean and European influences, and is likely to include Finn’s star dishes of burnt leeks with sundried tomato and parmesan; cedar-smoked salmon cooked over charcoal; and his signature apple tarte ‘Finn’.
