Sea Containers | Bottomless Thames-side Brunch
And now, a list of bottomless things, ordered from worst to best:
And thankfully if you head to the new brunch at Sea Containers you’ll be getting the latter of those three options. Or, if you fancy, you can also spring for bottomless Bellini’s, Grey Goose Bloody Mary’s, or simple prosecco.
The brunch itself is available every weekend, between 12-4pm at the gorgeous, Thames-adjacent Sea Containers restaurant housed in the eponymous Southbank building (now the Mondrian Hotel); it’s an Anglo-American restaurant drawing inspiration from the “Golden Age of transatlantic travel”, with sleek copper walls, and mustard & burgundy leather seating.
On the menu (and to help level out those bottomless cocktails) you’ll find everything from weekend roasts (dry aged ribeyes, whole chickens, lamb shanks, pork belly, lemon soles and trimmings), to their poached egg breakfast hash; pulled pork waffles; will mushroom omelettes, and more.
And if you feel all of that need only be topped off with a boozy milkshake filled with – oh, maybe rum, salted caramel, and Luxardo cherry – then we have good news. That’s just one of their hard shakes.
Despite the name, they go down very easily.
NOTE: Sea Containers new brunch is available now, from 12-4pm on Sat-Sun. To book, just head over to their website right HERE.
